Whatever your taste in interior designs, you’re sure to find something you love on Instagram. But with so many accounts and influencers to choose from, where do you even begin? Well, worry not – because we’ve picked out our favourite 14 Instagrams to fill your feed with loads of inspirational ideas.
These Four Walls
Abi Dare’s Instagram account is a dream come true for fans of white space and minimalism. Her home in Bristol is a Scandi-style paradise full of clean lines, monochrome details and pared-back elegance. She focuses a lot on the details – the often-forgotten extras that help make a house a home.
Just a Little Build
Sarah-Jane from Just a Little Build is a mother of three with an enviable life in Cornwall in the UK. Her Instagram account documents the eight-month build of her new family home and features plenty of ideas for kids’ bedrooms and play spaces. Be sure to check out her Instagram Stories too, where she posts handy tips like Ikea hacks and entertainment ideas.
Abigail Ahern
Abigail Ahern has a knack for maximalism, and one look at her account will have you planning to fill your house with plants, rugs, cushions and anything else that’ll add some extra texture. Her down-to-earth advice is easy to follow, and be sure to keep an eye out for her adorable dogs too.
Contemporary Life
Melia from Contemporary Life is a Swedish native living in London and manages to pull off modern minimalism in a way only a genuine Scandi expert can. Her home has an achievable accessibility to it – in particular, we love her use of natural lighting. She also posts lots of travel photos and restaurant interiors, too.
House Curious
Some Instagram accounts can drive you a little crazy as you try to recreate all off their bells and whistles, but that’s not the case with House Curious. Sommer Pyne makes it easy to get involved with her very own lifestyle shop. We love how her dark walls and considered details make her rooms feel warm and inviting.
Carasuthers
Cara Sutherland’s home is so picture-perfect, you’d be forgiven for thinking it was pulled straight from a catalogue. With two young sons and a pair of furry friends too, she shows that it’s still possible to get the most from your space despite a busy schedule.
The Frugality
What started as a fashion blog by magazine editor Alex Stedman, The Frugality has grown into a lifestyle blog with a focus on affordability. Alex’s North London home is full of Instagrammable nooks and crannys, but it’s her relatability that we love the most. She’s not afraid to post photos of her home looking a little less than perfect and hosts regular Q&As with her followers.
Lobster and Swan
If you’re a fan of bringing the outside in, then you’ll love Jeska Hearne’s Lobster and Swan Instagram. Everything is set against a backdrop of blooms and she’s filled her home with all sorts of botanicals. She also has a knack for photographing the exteriors of picturesque cottages, which will soon have you craving for the country life.
A London Interiors
If you love elegant interiors and mid-century design then A.London is the account for you. Have a scroll of this page for luxury touches and high-end furnishings like marble table tops and velvet chairs. The London-based account goes into homes in the capital and picks out the finer details for us all to enjoy.
All That’s Pretty
Who says pink has had its day? Laura-Ann’s All That’s Pretty is on a mission to make all things girly look cool again. Her gorgeous Northern Irish home is crammed full of feminine nik naks and girly touches – all the more impressive given she lives with three boys!
The Ordinary Lovely
The Ordinary Lovely is all about making the everyday beautiful, and it’s done with a level of style we’re sure you’ll be keen to replicate. From kids’ bedrooms to studies and living spaces, account owner Rachel makes everything look nonchalant and beautiful at the same time – in particular those table spread shots that has us checking our watches for lunchtime.
Han House
After moving to Copenhagen, Hannah Thinnesen Trickett adopted the iconic Scandinavian style. Everything is grey, white and neutral with soft lighting and even softer looking bedding. Her feed makes it easy to understand why minimalism is so completely timeless.
Seasons in Colour
A quick look through Seasons of Colour and you’ll want colourful, printed wallpaper in every room in the house. As a stark contrast to the more muted tones of Scandi design, Seasons in Colour is a blast of colour in your feed and is sure to inspire you to inject colour into your own home.
Sarah Cocolapine
Sarah Van Peteghem is an interior designer by trade so it’s no wonder her Instagram account looks this good. Her home is simple and stylish and we’re especially envious of her home office. Sitting in that calming space every day would make work a pure joy.
