Pick the theme that suits you
Before choosing the photos you want to use, have a bit of a think about how you want the photo album to look and feel. Are you a minimalist, favouring white space and clean text and framing? Or would you like to add some personality with lots of pictures, cute fonts and Clip Art? Maybe you’re after an illustrative theme or maybe you prefer to keep things classic and simple? Whatever theme takes your fancy, rest assured you’ll find it in the bonusprint pre-designs.
Choose your favourite pics
This is the best bit — time to choose your favourite photos of your new family. Open up that colossal photo roll you’ve been building and start selecting. Don’t be too sparing with your selections either; our pre-designed themes have pages with spaces for multiple pics on them, and you’ll be surprised how many you’ll use. Pick your favourite pre-design
Head over to the bonusprint website to start creating your book. You don’t need to be a graphic designer to start laying out, everything is super straight forward. Simply choose the theme you like, select the size you want and click ‘Create now’ to get started in our online editor. You’re now on your way to making your photo book.
Get designing
Designing your photo book couldn’t be easier. Upload your chosen photos into the bonusprint editor you’re using and simply drag them onto the pre-designed pages. Then just position them how you like. It’s as easy as that. This is also the time you get to choose different coloured backgrounds, add frames to photos or drop in some ClipArt; you’ll find these options on the left-hand side of the editor, right next to your uploaded photos. You can even add in masks, which is where the photo appears in the letters of a word. Give them all a go — if you decide you don’t like something there is an ‘Undo’ button in the top toolbar to take you back a step. Keep going until you’ve completed your book.
Check it out
That’s it; you’re all done. Good job, you’ve created your very own baby photo book. Now you just need to sit back and enjoy your creation. There’s a preview button on the top right of the editor that allows you to flick through the pages to make sure everything is in order, and once you’re happy, head to the check out. Click the Add to basket button and you’ll be given a choice of cover options, and if you’d like to print on glossy or matt paper. Once you’ve done that, the book is ready to go to print.
