2016 may be flying by, but we welcome February in with open arms! A new month means a new theme for our #MonthlyMoments photo series. So, (drumroll please…) the goal this month is to take creative photos that represent the word “connections”.

What connects you?

Transport, technology, friendships and even the old school pen-and-paper all help us to stay connected to each other. Perhaps you take a particular journey to visit a loved one, what landmarks or views do you see along the way? Do you have a personal ritual such as Yoga or meditation? Or maybe even a person or a certain place that reminds you of home or somewhere else you have fond connections to?

Don’t worry, you don’t have to be the next Annie Leibovitz to get involved. We fall in love with photos of our everyday moments just the same as those once-in-a-lifetime captures. The most important thing is that you snap and share your stories in 2016!

In this image our copywriter Seraya captured the early morning commute in Khajuraho, India.

India travel

“This particular train connects the travellers to the traditional city of Agra (home of the Taj Mahal) where most of these gentlemen work every day. Watching the sunrise and understanding the importance of this journey was really inspiring. I felt like a fly-on-the-wall!”

Our NL Marketer Carlijn took a picture of Machu Picchu, Peru.

Peru travel

“Machu Picchu was for many Incas the connection between the lower world and the gods. The sacred trail leading up to it and the majestic entrance through the temple of the sun was truly a memorable and breath-taking moment for me during my travels through South America.”

Ready? Ok, let’s get connected!

So now you know you’re up to speed with theme no.2, you should be ready to begin snapping these wonderful “connections”! Don’t forget to tag your beautiful photos with #monthlymoments so we can admire your images too! Plus, with the launch of our first ever smartphone app it has never been easier to transform your photos into instant works of art, from phone to print! Why not create a softcover book each month of your mini monthly moments? Whatever you choose, we hope you have a great month of discovery!
