What happened to the old online creator tool?
Due to technical limitations of the browser and the use of old Flash technology, we have released a new and improved creator tool that is faster and more user-friendly.
Where is the photo book that I already started in the old online creator tool?
If your have started a book in the old creator tool, you will automatically be redirected to that when you click to edit it on the ‘saved projects’ page in your account.
Can I open my photo book that I created in the old creator tool in the new creator tool? Can I save it?
Yes, you can open any photo book in the new online creator tool. When you save it, it is stored in the new creator tool.
Where can I find my saved projects in the new online creator tool?
You can find your projects in your account, on the ‘saved projects’ page. In the creator tool you can click on the folder icon in the top left corner to open your saved projects.
Can I open my photo book that I created and saved in the new creator tool in the old creator tool?
No, after you have opened the photo book in the new online creator tool, it is available only through the new creator tool and no longer in the old one.
What are the differences between the old online creator tool (Flash) and the new online creator tool (HTML5)?
All design options such as backgrounds, clipart, frames and masks remain unchanged. Shuffling layouts and autofill will be coming soon, and the background colour picker. The new online creator tool is also available on a tablet, while the old creator tool was not. If you miss specific functions that you previously had, please contact our customer service team.
Is the new online creator tool available on mobile devices?
Not yet. Download our app to create a photo book on your mobile. Our browser-based mobile version for photo books will be available in the coming months and will be similar to the browser-based version for cards, calendars and other products.
