So, today the spotlight is shining brightly on you – here’s a look at our #mybonusprint May winner and what he had to say about his bonusprint experience.
What inspired you to create those photos?
Although I create images for my website and facebook and alike, the process is not usually finished for me until I’m holding the printed photograph in my hands. When the package arrives I’m looking at it thinking, Is it how I imagined it? Did I do a good edit? Oh, look how well it’s turned out!
Printing this time, was special as these photographs were to promote my work.
Can you tell us about the photos you’ve ordered?
These photos are some of the best that I had taken recently. Mostly from country walks and the odd road trip. I’ve captured lochs and castles as well as broad hillsides and little green fern about to unfolding, which I rather like.
What made you choose bonusprint?
I’m happy with the ease and usability of the software but the best thing is the customer service. On the odd occasion I’ve had a problem it’s been dealt with efficiently and dare I say kindly you don’t always get that. I had previously used the services of a similar company with similar products who wanted me to jump through hoops when I had an issue with a photo book. Needless to say, I went elsewhere and I’m sticking with the good customer service, thank you BP..
So Charles, what are you going to make with your voucher?
With my voucher, it has to be another photo book.
I’m the unofficial photographer for our small hill walking group and the first time I gave our group a photo book of our first walk together as a surprise gift, (they thought I was just taking photos for myself and being an idiot for carrying the extra weight). When they got their own book as a keepsake they were gobsmacked. They were so used to having a bunch of photos on their phones, which they had stopped looking at, that when they got a photo book artistically done and well laid out, it brought back a great visceral memory.
